What you didn’t know about DebiCheck
The DebiCheck debit order is an authenticated debit order which is electronically confirmed by the account holder, via their bank or service provider, on a once-off basis, at the start of a new contract that they have signed with the company who initiated the request.
DebiCheck Mandates can either be authenticated as a delayed batch process (TT2 mandates), via online banking or the banking app or in real-time (TT1 mandates), via USSD (cell phone message).
Direct Debit’s DebiCheck in conjunction with our E-Mandate service ensures you authenticate the correct details when submitting the DebiCheck mandate request.
The E-Mandate option allows you to add the branded mandate to your website, social media pages, WhatsApp or even have clients sign up in front of you with a tablet.
The marriage between these two services is extremely beneficial as it saves you on cost. You no longer need to repeatedly resubmit mandates after correcting the details (you usually pay for each submission).
Making sure that the details are correct from the start reduces the time for the sale to be completed, increasing your cash-flow.
Direct Debit’s real-time DebiCheck option allows you to authenticate the client on any device like a computer, tablet or cell phone (no costly card machines needed) ensuring you close the deal while your client is in front of you.
The DebiCheck service has recently had some new developments where clients could previously dispute the debit order if the debit order was not submitted on the registered date. This has subsequently been reviewed and these debit orders cannot be disputed anymore.
The new window for submission ensures that clients with usage-based mandates and debit order dates falling on weekends, public holidays or have resubmissions are also covered for any future disputes that could occur.
Some of the notable benefits of using DebiCheck are as follows:
– Save on cost for mandates and failed debit orders
– Less disputes as the client authenticates upfront
– Elimination of fraudulent banking details
– Tracking of unpaid debit orders to collect funds as soon as they come in.
Start using DebiCheck to decrease your dispute rate and increase your cash-flow today.
